Privacy Policy - Dark Mode for Testlio (Unofficial)
Last updated: July 9, 2026
Dark Mode for Testlio ("the extension") is a browser extension that applies a customizable dark theme to pages on testlio.com.
Data Collection
The extension does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any user data. It contains no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, and no advertising, and it makes no network requests to any server.
What The Extension Stores
The extension saves only your theme settings — mode (on / off / auto), brightness, and contrast — using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.sync API. These values live inside your own browser profile and, if you have Chrome sync enabled, sync between your own devices through your Google account like any other browser setting. They are never sent to the developer or to any third party.
For faster page loads, a copy of these same settings is also cached in the site's local storage on testlio.com so the dark theme can be applied instantly without a light flash. This cache contains nothing but the theme settings.
Permissions
- storage — used to save the theme settings described above.
- Host access to
*.testlio.com— used to inject the dark theme stylesheet into Testlio pages. The extension runs only on testlio.com and does not read page content.
Changes To This Policy
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version adds an optional feature that requires data), it will be updated at this URL and the extension's Chrome Web Store disclosures will be updated to match.
